Okay so I know I said I would post info yesterday or today but I have to scan pics and such in and so it may not be done till this next monday now. I'm sorry.

What I can tell you is that in the last 6 months I lost 42 pounds and 28 inches (7 inches were lost in my hips).  I started out as a very tight size 18 and I'm now in a baggy 14 and can fit into 12's I just haven't bought any yet (FRIDAY WOOT). I'm going shopping when I get my tax return to celebrate.  So...I'm about halfway to my goal and hoping to reach it by August for my birthday!

I'll post stuff later though.

So I'm doing the self challenge this year and determined to finish it...because I never have. I always start and never finish it.  They say you can eat 1600 calories a day. It's part of the plan...so i'm going with 1500 although right now I average about 800-1000 and so I'm both scared to gain and worried about how much food that will require. Thankfully this year they have sample lists etc that you can print and use to go shopping for groceries with. I figured...if I do increase my calorie intake and actually get off of this plateau then good. If I don't...then I'll follow the plan and just keep my calories where they have been.  I tried yesterday to eat more than usual and still only ate 1000 calories. I'm just not a big eater anymore. So maybe their eating plan will have some pointers on good calories and where to get them. 

They say if you follow it for the 1st month you'll lose ten pounds. I would be happy just to lose 6! So here's the to the self challenge

Goal for month one: 150 (reasonable eh)

I just want off of this platueau. Meh.

I dissected a sheep brain in anatomy today and now my hands are all fermaldahydish smelling EWW.

Wow. It seems like a long time since I've posted.

I've been a busy little bee so to speak. Weight still 156 which is good but annoying because I doubt that I'll drop 2 pounds by monday :( ah well. Progress is progress. I knew it would get harder to lose the more I lost. Part of the challenge. It will make victory all the sweeter in the long run!

So I will post some stuff Monday when I get back on again...or...it may be tuesday it depends on how classes go.

Hoorah. Water problem is mostly solved. It did freak me out though. No water till almost 6 pm last night GRR!

Grey's Anatomy season 1 is out on DVD today! Happy Valentines day to me!

Good intake yesterday and today so far. I'm working out after I get done commenting so I'll catch ya later!

So I get home from class to discover that I have no running water! UGH. There's a busted water main in the apartment building next to me so all of the buildings are shut off while the city tries to repair it. This sucks! They said it would be sometime this afternoon before they can get it fixed and the water turned back on. Pooey.

So the countdown is on. Next monday is my 6 month anniversary and I'm hoping to lose at least 2 more pounds before then.  It's not where I wanted to be (145) but I've come a long way so far and must realize that and be happy with it.  Plus I've got till August to reach my goals and I'm making decent progress. So there's that.

Still 156 today so that is probably due to eating poorly while moving in. :(

Anywho, I'm off to workout now and then study study study.

Oh and I leave you with this.  Former roommate went with my to see my mum this past friday.  Mum hadn't seen me in a few weeks and the first thing she had me do was take of my jacket and hoody (I was really cold) so she could see me. "wow you're stomach is almost flat" she says. She then runs through her food routine (telling me what she ate etc) and her workout stuff. Then off we go. My roommate responds (once we're out of earshot of my mum) "so that's where you get it from". PAH!

Oh and then while packing up the last of my things at mum's the other day (that I had stored in her basement) I come up the stairs to hear her talking to my granma. She says "B is over here and you should see her mom and all the weight she's lost ...blah...blah...blah.." She doesn't tell my granma that I'm doing great in my college classes or that I just got a new place...she tells her how much weight I'm losing (which really doesn't seem like much when she says it the way that she does).

Anywho. I'm sure my mum's not the only one like this but it's a bit annoying at times. She's all proud and encouraging one minute and then jealous or freaked out that I'm becoming ana or mia the next. Oh well.

I'm just glad I got my stuff back and that I can work out with my exercise ball tonight! Hoorah. I'm glad to have space so I can workout to my Crunch DVD's again. A bit of variety. I was getting tired of just being on the treadmill all the time.

Hello, I'm going to mums to pick up the last of my stuff from her house and then bringing it home! I can't wait because I'm getting my exercise ball back (for starters). Secondly, my microwave, which is vital seeings how I'm a dope and would rather microwave veggies than cook them over the stove (time reasons mostly).

So far so good. I've got a good workout and studying to do when I get back. Then my favorite tv show Grey's Anatomy will be on...and who knows maybe I'll workout some more during commercials or something too add some oomph. I'm 2 weeks from my 6 month anniversary and that means I'll be posting some pictures and some other stuff too!
